If you have the cash, and if i was building my pc today isntead of 6 months ago, id spec for a pair of 980's with some nice aftermarket coolers (my preference is zotac) and a i7 5930k, hook it upto a all in one watercooler of your choice (had nothing but good times with corsairs ones), dial in a nice OC and you will be probably pushing 80ish fps at very near max all the time (im getitng 50-70 most of the time with my rig), or go big and go with a pair of titan X's, or you could wait and see where abouts the 980 ti's land, personally id expect them to be about 10% faster than the 980 at about £100 more to fit in nicely between the 980 and the titan X both in price and performance. What you are looking at building is pretty much my pc (check bio), and even with it all overclocked i cant get close to those numbers, simple fact is gtaV needs a serious monster pc to truely max and look at getitng anywhere near 100fps, going triple sli wont gain you anything as the benefit beyond 2 cards is marginal and you will still hit the issue of not enough vram (you need nearly 5gb at max settings at 1440p), and it does also seem that the newer i7 59XX cpu's seem to offer a substantial gain in fps for gtaV, and with the corresponding components coming down in price (mobo / ddr4 ram), id recommend going for one of those, seeing as you seem to have the budget for triple sli 980's, dropping to 2 and spedning the extra on the cpu doesnt seem to much of a bad deal.īeyond that, if you REALLY want to hit those high fps, im afraid you will need to look at sli titans, as just one wont cut it for the fps you are aiming for (1 titan isnt as powerful as 2 980's), so i hope you have some deep pockets.

Multiple sizes available for all screen sizes and devices. I can tell you right now the rig your looking at will 1) not run the game at a true max settings and 2) will not come close to 120-144fps at as close to max settings as the 980 allows (which is pretty close).
